Fourteen degrees. Barn duty.

We didn’t look for antique doors yesterday. Truck unhooked, ready to go, when we got the call. Colic. Call the vet. Take temperature. Banamine. Walk. Watch. Hook up the trailer. More medication. Watch. Tube. Watch. Off to the clinic. So far, so good. Horses.

Watched Life Is Good win the Pegasus. He was very good. It was over in 10 strides. Knicks Go was gracious in defeat. Horses.

How about Paisley Park? I actually uttered, “They need to retire poor old Paisley Park” halfway through the Cleeve Hurdle. Horses.

Finished third in the NTRA/NHC Charity Challenge Betting contest, due mostly to an upset score by Wolfie’s Dynaghost in an open handicap at Gulfstream. Received $100 credit from the Breeders’ Cup. My ticket out of here.
