Wow, here we are deep into Week 4 already of the 2026 Saratoga Race Course meeting.
Like we wrote on the website Wednesday night after finishing Issue 3 of The Saratoga Special, Week 4 used to be the curtain call for racing here in upstate New York. Not so anymore, with loads of action yet to come.
Week 4 started Thursday and continues Friday with a 10-race card that features a pair of stakes – the Grade 2 Shuvee for fillies and mares on the dirt and the Rick Violette for 3-year-old New York-breds on the grass.
