Weather watchers rejoice, this is your weekend.

For the second straight week, we give you bonus coverage. The Friday Special. And, like last week, don’t worry, we’re coming right back with a proper Saturday Special, complete with Pegasus Day handicapping from the featured five.

Monday Morning. Whew, did you watch football this weekend? Sport, bloody hell. As for racing, a stellar card at Fair Grounds highlighted the domestic show. A clash of the titans, of the ages, at Ascot powered the international action. 

The seemingly never-ending winter of 2022 – or is it 2020 still? – rolls along with a monster blast of frigid weather in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic. Thankfully there’s plenty of racing south of the Mason-Dixon and we’ve got it all covered in another jam-packed edition of The Saturday Special.

Bonus Coverage. Here’s your Friday Special. And don’t worry, we’re coming right back Saturday with the traditional Saturday Special, including winners – lots of winners – from our intrepid handicappers who tackle a robust card at Fair Grounds Saturday.

How’s your back from all that shoveling? If you’re in the Northeast you know the feeling, after the insert-name-here snowstorm dumped the white stuff over much of the East Coast Sunday into Monday.

Ready for the snow? Ah, ignore the impending impediment, curl up on the couch, fire up the ADW of your choice and enjoy a Saturday at the races.

Winter – already well underway officially – arrived in earnest over the last week with everything from major snowstorms to wind to biting cold over much of the eastern part of the country. We’re already thinking of warmer days ahead, knowing full well this is just the first of probably several blasts.
