I don’t think I’ll get a lot of argument when I say the best place to watch racing in Saratoga is at the track. If you do want to argue though, I can back up my assertion with over a million counter arguments.
Notice anything different when you started watching the races from Saratoga this season?
No, no, no. Not the vacant stands, everyone expected that. What about the main track? The dirt, or more specific the color of the dirt. Surely that was noticed by those watching on TVs, laptops, tablets or phones.

The second week of the 2020 Saratoga Race Course meeting comes to a close Sunday with a 10-race card topped by the Grade 2 Bernard Baruch for older horses on the grass.
Laura Moquett and her star mount came almost face-to-face with an 18-wheeler walking out of the paddock back to the stakes barn on their first morning training at Saratoga Race Course this week.
