The Saratoga Special’s handicappers are back for another season and looking for more winners as the first week of the 2017 Saratoga meeting comes to a close with a nine-race card Monday.
We added a guest handicapper for the print edition of The Special but we’ll give the celebrities a break and go with our core group of four – defending champ John Shapazian, Gaile Fitzgerald, Tom Law and Charles Bedard. Selections for that quartet will appear online Mondays and Wednesdays throughout the meet, with the exception of Monday, Aug. 7 when The Special is printed for the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga sale of selected yearlings.
