He might have the perfectly engaged crowd on any given summer morning now that he and his wife Renee and daughter Kate are the soon-to-be owners of the Brunswick Bed & Breakfast just across from Saratoga Race Course.

Weekend Interview: Jeffrey Cannizzo

Jeffrey Cannizzo, who participated in his first meeting as an official member of the New York Racing Association board of directors Thursday in Manhattan, is all in on Thoroughbred racing.

Saturday Special – March 12

Now this is a Saturday. Literally coast to coast there are important and interesting races on tap, with loaded cards at Tampa Bay Downs and Santa Anita Park leading the way for this week’s Saturday Special presented by Pin Oak Stud, home of Alternation, Broken Vow and Cowboy Cal.

Here & There – March 9

Spring has sprung, even though the so-called experts say it’s too early to call it and even though Christmas lights can be found without looking too hard in spots. So it might be a bit early, and it doesn’t quite feel the same as the last few winters that packed a serious wallop, the warm weather is still very welcome.
