The process to assemble the 2024 editorial team for The Saratoga Special – which could also include working on the team covering the historic Belmont Stakes at Saratoga Race Course – is underway.
Applications are being accepted for our usual writing intern positions and for the first time in 2024, a photography/multimedia intern.
Summer positions with The Special typically run from early July through Labor Day, though we’re flexible depending on school schedules, work schedules, etc.
We’ve listed Writer and Photographer here. In reality, there are opportunities beyond those and a need for hard-working, interested people in all facets of a small business – distribution, advertising sales, marketing, layout/design, etc. Positions are paid with a stipend for the season. Housing is not included, though we can assist your search.
