Quiet around TIHR this week. Joe on an island somewhere. Tom hiking in the woods. I’m farmed out, or in, whichever way you want to look at it. The Saratoga lull, keeping our powder dry. 

Royal Ascot come and gone for another year. Firm ground at the beginning, heavy ground at the end. Brilliant moments along the way. Someday we’ll ge there. 

Happy Father’s Day, Dad. Thanks for all the road trips, from hockey games in high school to race tracks from Charles Town to Charleston, thanks for the lessons, the phone calls, the friendship, the mentorship. 

Sosua improved her record to 3-for-3 yesterday with a win over allowance foes at Monmouth, stretching out to a mile. Purchased as a yearling, she needed time, was given time and is paying everyone back for that time.
