Sunday afternoon/evening. Breakfast? Check. Morning run? Check. Dog walk? Check. Kids distracted? Yes. Pull up a chair and a laptop/iPad/gizmo and dive into the old stuff. Yes, it’s Archive Sunday. We don’t have everything we’ve ever written on here, but we’ve got a few. Enjoy the rewind.
Edgar Prado resurgence. The Hall of Famer is riding in career form as evidenced by recent stakes wins at Gulfstream Park with Graydar, Kitten’s Point and Rydilluc. Back in 2008, when he made the Hall, we caught up with some of his peers on what it’s like to ride with, and know, Edgar Prado. See Story Here.
Charlie Lopresti. Who? Everybody knows him now, but the trainer of Horse of the Year Wise Dan was a man out of place when he came to Saratoga with Here Comes Ben in 2010. Wound up one of the interviews of the meet. See Preview Story Here. Here Comes Ben, of course, upset the big names in the Forego. See Recap Story Here.
Making a Point. He knocked off Animal Kingdom with a powerful victory at Gulfstream last month, but last summer Point Of Entry was impressing witnesses in Saratoga’s Grade 1 Sword Dancer. See Story Here.
I now return you to your Sunday. Have a great week.
