The Inside Rail

The barn awaits.

Every Monday.

Like a tollboth.

Overcast, a little rain last night, enough to water the grass, settle the dust, that's all.

Riverdee's Lemonade Thursday finished third, ran OK, got a little tired but was no match for Repeat Repeat and Animal Kingston at Middleburg Saturday. Gibralfaro learned how to handle the Alfred M. Hunt Course while navigating the Alfred M. Hunt course, finished second to specialist Invocation. Good efforts. Make A Stand pulled up in his hurdle debut. Poor effort.

Clancy Bloodstock purchase Withoutdestination won his hurdle debut for Charlie Fenwick, Graham Watters and Todd and Blair Wyatt. Razoul posted a strong second in his American debut for Del Rio Chasers, Kate and Bernie Dalton.

As for Snap Decision, he returned at his best, dominating the Temple Gwathmey. Cool win for Mystric Strike, deserving after bad luck in his first two starts this year, good, definitiive ride by Tom Garner.

Best of all, it was fun to be back at the races, climbing the rocks, seeing friends, enjoying the sport.
