The $150,000 Skidmore Stakes going 5 ½ furlongs on the turf highlights Friday’s card, as the eighth race at 4:58 p.m. An overflow field was entered, relegating a couple to the also-eligible list along with a main track only runner.
No Nay Mets, perfect in his two domestic starts after a decent try overseas at Royal Ascot, is 7-5 on the morning line for the Skidmore. He takes on another Royal Ascot runner in Fandom, familiar foe Ship Cadet and Saratoga maiden winners Seize The Grey and Billy The Greek.
