Won Grand National timber stakes. by 4. wire to wire.
Won Maryland Hunt Cup timber stakes. by 10. Set course record of 8:33 2/5 for four miles and 22 fences. Stood until 1995.

American record: seven wins in seven starts. Won Maryland Hunt Cup twice and Grand National twice. Also unbeaten in four point-to-point (non-sanctioned) starts over timber.

Won English Grand National at Aintree. Third American-based horse to win historic race after Jay Trump (1965) and Battleship (1938). They are both in the Hall of Fame.

Raced a total of 13 times in England with just the single win, but both campaigns there were geared toward the Grand National, not success in other races.

Battleship (1938) and Jay Trump (1965) are the only other American-based horses to win the world’s most famous steeplechase. Both are in the Hall of Fame.

Died in 1995 at age 26.
