Trainer Graham Motion's 18-year-old gelding, who competed for parts of nine seasons while winning 14 of 51 starts and earning $4.3 million, including the 2004 Breeders' Cup Turf, was euthanized Tuesday due to complications from colic. Owned by Bushwood Stable, the turf warrior had been retired with honors at Fair Hill Training Center since his racing career ended in 2009.
