11 to contest historic Temple Gwathmey

Posted by on in Behind the Lens

Not many 8-race cards on the NSA circuit, but tomorrow's Middleburg Spring meet features five hurdle contests, one over timber, another over the fabled zigzag Alfred Hunt Course, and the finale, over the flat. In all, $155,000 in purse money is up for grabs, and the lion's share will be awarded in the $50,000 Grade III Temple Gwathmey over hurdles. Here's a look at the 11 combatants.
